I'm Connie Carmody, Program Manager for the Civil Engineer and Cadet Support Services Contract.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I joined CH2M HILL in 2003 after serving 32 years in the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and retiring with the rank of Colonel. While in the USAF, I served as a Base Civil Engineer and a Command Civil Engineer at two MAJCOMS (ACC and AFSPC). Some of my accomplishments included leading a staff of 240 engineering professionals responsible for operating and maintaining Air Combat Command’s $35 billion physical plant with an annual budget of $900 million. I also provided oversight to environmental programs and the programming, design, construction, operations and maintenance of facilities worldwide. In addition, I was responsible for maintaining and operating 25,000 military family housing units.

As the Program Manager for this contract, I'll be responsible for all aspects of contract performance. That includes ensuring we hire the most qualified people, and I expect many of you who already work at the USAFA to be in that category. I look forward to meeting each of you in the coming days and working together to successfully execute our mission supporting the USAFA.
